UNSCOM: A successful experiment in disarmament

چکیده
In this article, a former chemical and biological chief inspector for the UN Special Commission on Iraq from 1996–1998 concludes that UNSCOM experience was successful full-scale experiment in disarmament uncovered destroyed infrastructure of Iraqi bioweapons program. The experience, however, also illustrated limitations inspection methods, especially when it comes to small-scale activities distrusted country.
